My iPod can't connect to itunes and won't turn on.

Hello guys

I've dissasembled my Ipod to replace the screen and I did that succesfully but somehow my Ipod won't connect to Itunes nor will it turn on. The only thing I can see which is really broken is the coper plate under the EMI shield which is connect to the sleep/hold button. Does somebody maybe know how to repair or fix it?
