You might be able to call HP and order some, but that's old enough that I doubt that they will have them. If you have the Windows 7 serial key on the bottom of the laptop, you can install Windows 7 from a generic Windows 7 Microsoft CD. For example, just search eBay for "Windows 7 Home CD" and you should find some there for pretty cheap, Then, during the install you will put in the license key from the bottom of your laptop. Make sure you get the right CD (Home vs Pro etc.). If you have more than 4GB of RAM you will want the 64 bit version of Windows 7.

You will then need to go to the HP website and download all the drivers for the laptop. If you are not technical this will be a challenge. Have a geek friend help with this part.

Ideally you would find the actual restore discs, as they would have the drivers, but that is somewhat unlikely.
