Why does my phone turn off while idle?
P8 lite turns off itself when screen goes off. It does not happen if its plugged into wall charger

there is likely a “feature” trying to help you comply with the insanity of Green Tyranny. There is no “saving” electricity unless you have a magical bucket imbued with this antiscience capability.
