Kenmore 100 washing machine fills with water but won't start

My kenmore 110 series washing machine will fill up but that’s it, none of the settings seem to work to get the machine to actually run (previous load finished normally trying to started a new load). I have checked and the outlet it’s plugged into is getting power so that’s not the issue. I have unplugged the machine for 5+ min to reset it and that didn’t fix the issue.

Cause 1

Lid Switch Assembly

The lid switch assembly prevents the washer from spinning when the lid is open. If the lid switch assembly fails, the washer may stop mid-cycle. To determine if the lid switch assembly is defective, use a multimeter to test each of the lid switches for continuity. If a lid switch does not have continuity, replace it.

Cause 2

Door Lock Motor and Switch Assembly

The door lock secures the washer door shut during operation. Once the washer door is closed, the washer can begin operating. If the washer door is not latched shut, the door switch prevents the washer from operating. If the door lock is defective, the washer may stop mid cycle. The door lock can fail either mechanically or electrically. Inspect the door lock for damage. If the door lock is damaged or does not latch properly, replace it. To determine if the door lock has failed electrically, consult your washer’s diagram and use a multimeter to test each of the door lock switches for continuity. If one of the switches does not have continuity, replace the switch.

If the water drain duct is blocked by lint or some objects, chances are you washer won’t start. Usually washer have sensors for all functions, so if one function is disabled the whole process stops. Check drain duct after you carefully empty the drum (there must be instructions for this in your user’s manual).

I have a series 100 HE with similar problem.

Fills with water normally (sensing light on)
Upon completion of fill lid lock light comes on and lid is locked.
There is a short "Humm-click" that comes from the bottom of the machine.
It won't continue into wash cycle and no "wash" light illuminated.
Drains normally if cycle is cancelled.
I watched YouTube videos on my exact model machine. It explained how to get into machine diagnostics (using 6 lights on front of control panel.
I successfully entered into diagnostic mode. Then self test.
I get 4 lights illuminating together and then 2 lights together. It keeps repeating. I didn't get any info on codes in my manual as the man in the video.
The 4 lights together are "sensing" "rinse" "spin" & "complete".
The 2 lights together are "rinse" & "complete".

I know the machine is telling me something, but what???
