Damaged logic board connector
Look closely at the trackpad connector on the board. I only say this because upon close inspection of the board in my 2015 MacBook Pro 13 inch, I see the far right end of the trackpad connector is broken. The end that anchors the cable to the board and the first one or two of the pins may have separated from their pads.
Since I doubt my client has opened the back of his computer, I suspect the damage was simply caused from excess pressure applied to the bottom of the computer. I see this often when computers are put in backpacks. Over time, this pressure eventually causes the end to break off.
Now I am looking for a replacement trackpad connector that I can microsolder to the board.
If anybody has a part number or knows the name of this part, please let me know. Perhaps somebody out there knows a company that sells logic board components? I’ve tried a few like Rossmann and beetstech without success. I have included images.
Thank you.

the first 7 pins seems to be in the circuit, have you tried to play a little with the connector and tried to force the pins back in to the original place, it might make contact and work out, if so you should apply something (like silicone glue) to keep the connector in the safe place. I don't know, its just an idea, because wont be easy to find that particular piece.
Also, you might ask around for a dead compatible logic board, and make the change.
Wish you luck!

Sorry to say someone was a bit forceful on the connector trying to put it on which is why the end is mashed. I have serviced tons of systems and have only seen this type of damage on previously serviced system (opened). If you don't line up the connector and press down this is what happens!
@oldturkey03 - Any ideas where to find the connector?
