The tire pressure light comes on even though there is air in tire. Then sometimes it will go off showing air in that tire. Later it will come back on showing no air when there is air.

Most likely you have a tire pressure sensor going bad. Time for a trip to the favorite local tire dealership. Please pick someone with sense (not Walmart or pep boys).
