ok, what about if i want to replace the housing, and not just the glass?
That would basically just be a teardown, where you disassemble everything from the phone and reassemble it in the new housing. Here's a video teardown of an iPhone 8 plus https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DxKCiRiO..., and using this page: iPhone 8
Should help you to tear down the individual components. unfortunately I could not find a full teardown of just the iPhone 8. Good lcuk
if you can find a teardown of an iPhone 7 then use that, they are pretty similar.
just be aware of a screw that's hidden under black foam near the rear camera connector that holds the logic board down
