Why won't my Power Mac G5 connect to the internet

I have an Powermac G5 with the single core.

I have installed the antennae to the back of the machine and I have put the airport extreme card in.

It will not recognize the airport card in the apple software(My powermac G5 runs OS X Panther.

Now go to your System Preferences and make sure it sees it and is turned on.

Hi it is the computer in the second link and I used the same antenna and I used the AirPort Extreme card
