the logic board I purchased came already locked. is this normal or did they send me a faulty logic board, or where can I find the info for the email and password.

you did not tell us where you bought it from. If this was an ifixit purchase contact customer support on here https://help.ifixit.com/category/133-con...
If it was not an iFixit purchase, your guess is as good as ours for how to contact that seller. There is no fix and the board is of no use to you.

yes, the logic board that I purchased from ifixit came with an iCloud lock already on it. I have emailed support and am currently waiting for a response at the moment. I will add another post after I get a response to let y'all know what the issue was. I am currently just frustrated I spent the time and money to order the part, and then go in and replace it myself only to find it to already be locked as well.

No its a scam try to return it. It’s not possible to unlock it without the password.
