I replaced the battery but I'm having the same problem, the phone shuts turns off at 50%. Did I get a bad battery?

There was an lawsuit against Google and Huawei regarding this phone model because of reboots and batterydrain issues. Basicly your whole device might just be bad, PCB problems probably.
