I recently had my 3D Touch stop working after a battery replacement. I was told that it was because the cables were ripped. So I ordered and another seal and took apart my phone. The cables looked fine so I reseated them and I booted up my phone and it still wasn’t working. I honestly have no idea what’s wrong. Touch ID and everything else on the display still works fine.

No I replaced the battery screen is original.
You will need to replace the screen if you want 3D touch to work again.
Why what’s wrong with it?
I literally just took it off replaced the battery and put it back on, I didn’t put any stress on the cables and didn’t put a lot of weight on the connectors.
The ribbon cable for the screen for 3D Touch has gotten damaged somehow, it's usually how they stop working after a battery replacement.
Otherwise it may be pry damage near the screen connectors but I don't think there are components near the screen connectors used for 3D touch.
