So this morning I was shaking my iPod for the shuffle to work. I guess I shook it too hard because it shut off and will only work if plugged into a charger. It works just fine and seems as if nothing is wrong, but once you unplug it it turns right off. It's done this once before, but it fixed right away. Not fixing this time. What would be the best thing to do?

follow the steps in the battery replacement guide iPod Nano 4th Generation Battery Replacement to get to the battery. you will notice that the battery is attached using solder points. check to see if they are solid or if any other cables are loose during disassembly.
