Messed up teardown, how do I align Laser Printer Gears?

I made a big mistake: I took apart my Samsung ML-2010 Laser Printer because the spongy roller had to be repaced and I didn’t know that the sponge material snaps out without tearing down the whole thing.

Now that I’ve reassembled, some gears have flat ends on them, kind of like a letter D and I can’t figure out how to align the gears so that it will advance the paper sheets correctly.

Does nobody here ever do laser printer repair, are there ANY tips?

Gee, no responses, surely people have fixed laser printers before and have tips? The gears are in good condition, I just need to figure out how to align the teethless part of two of the gears. Is there no one willing to engage on this?

@drhoo printer repair is a royal PITA because manuals are scarce and repair parts are hard to come by. Nobody wants to repair a printer since it is cheaper to buy a new one. Anyhow, you did not tell us which exact gears etc. It will help if you add lots of images etc. Whenever you run into issues like this. Here is a document that will be of interest to you. If nothing else it’s a start. Samsung-ML-2010.pdf

Here is a guide that will tell you how to post some images of what you are looking at Adding images to an existing question

Ok, I'll tear it down again and post photos, that is a valid point. Thank you!

@drhoo Checked the document to see if it shows what you are looking for?
