Can I fix this without wiping my phone?

This has happened for a while on and off but for the last few weeks it happens almost every other day. In lieu of wiping the phone and having to reset everything (which I am trying to avoid), I did the following troubleshooting steps to fix the problem

• Phone restart (temporary)
• Clearing the camera data out in app info (Did not help)

Since the issue persists, it’s not something I can quickly fix and I do not think a factory reset will work - which is why I didn’t try it. I believe this is a hardware issue and I think it may lie with the camera, or possibly motherboard in the phone.
