What kind of hard drive does it use?

What kind of connector does the iPod Classic use? ZIF? PATA?

I’m looking to buy a new drive for one I found, and need to figure out the style. (Not looking for Tarkan iFlash)

If you have any Amazon links to buy one, I’ll take it!

its considered a ZIF connector (PATA is the interface not related to the connector) and yes, the drive you listed has the right connector etc. Only issue could be that the pin assignment is different so make sure you have the right HDD cable. I found that Hitachi and Toshiba have had a different cable. Ultimately, it will fit.
