My daughter has gone thru 3 calculators during the school year and I was hoping to be able to find a repair place. The calculators are TI-30XS and the screen is showing black lines going up the screen since it probably was dropped.
If you can or know someone that may fix these here in the United States if you could please pass along the info I would appreciate it.

The screen is installed with hot bar soldering, so there’s no nondestructive way to replace it. You can replace it on SOME color graphing calculators, but any B&W model probably uses a hotbar. It’s almost certainly a limitation based on what is available with how common it is. I’m sure you could use a ZIF daughterboard and hotbar the display onto a subassaembly, but that’s not something the manufacturs will likely ever do.
Not even good ones like the TI-84 Plus are modular but the CE is.

You might get a kick out of the first electrical calculator I was given as a graduation gift from High School Bowmar Brain It was a simple four function unit. My dad paid $250 back then, which is about $400 in todays dollars!
I kept it on my desk in my dorm room in a cigar box! As I was so scared of breaking it or having it walk away! I really hated using mechanical slide rulers of the time. Even still it had its limits being only four function! Today I’m amazed on what we can get in a calculator or even our smart phones! You can even talk to it to do the math!
OK so what to do here?
Sadly, when the displays get damaged there is very little you can fix. The best you can do is if you have one of the units which has a different problem you might be able to swap some parts around to get one working.
The cost of someones time is more thant the cost of the calculator! TI-30XS calculator. And parts are just not available from TI.
Sorry I feel your pain! Kids can be rough with their stuff.
