Hard drive not found in disk utility?

A few days ago, I turned on my laptop, and it was slow but it worked like always. It turned on, but then all of a sudden, while I was on google chrome, it shut down by itself. And when I tried to turn it on again, it’ll show me the flashing folder with the question mark.

So I did some research, and went to recovery mode to try see what’s happening, but my hard drive is not there? Only the OS X Base System thing.

I did some more research and found maybe there’s a problem with my hard drive?

Well, the thing is, I had a hard drive problem before, and replaced it with a Seagate FireCuda ST500LX025 Hard Drive (500GB) in the beginning of February. It hasn’t even been a year yet and I refuse to think there’s a problem with the hard drive?

I don’t know much about these things so…

Please help, I really need my laptop for school that’s starting in two days!
