After changing the filter, Ice maker not working!

Hi,

I bought my Kenmore model 10651335710 refrigerator in 2018 which is side by side. I had to call sears repair men twice to fix the icemaker after I changed the water filter every 6 months and reset the filter indicator. Sears repair men changed the ice maker assembly that has the ice tray and also water valve that they taught was frozen. Yesterday, I changed the water filter and flush the system. I can hear the ice maker is cycling, but I do not hear the water is going to the ice tray in the ice maker to make the ice. What do you think is the problem? Can it be the front control board does not work when I reset the filter to signal the water valve to open to fill the ice maker? Also, does the six months indicator the light which turn red is based on the timer or water consumption? Can I change the filter in 5 months and rest the filter indicator? Would it solve the problem?
