Replaced the iphone 8 screen and 3d touch is totally unresponsive. Took the screen back off, checked all the connections, and it still won’t respond. Also tired adjusting the 3d touch settings, and a hard phone reset, but nothing helps! Any suggestions?

Try putting your old screen back on. If it works then at you need is a new screen

Could be the quality of the new screen. Where did you get it from? If it’s a cheap screen off of Amazon there’s no telling what you may get in terms of quality. Did you check all the cables? Make sure nothing is pinched or that any pins got bent. Apple could have also just decided to disable this feature with a software update if it detects a non genuine Apple screen. Doubt that’s the issue but with Apple you never know.
