Display not working after laptop fell.

My laptop tipped over and fell. When I tried to power it on to see if it works a slight light appeared on the screen but the logo didn't appear. When I pressed on the screen with both hands the logo appeared momentarily and too me to the page to enter my password but then the display was lost again. Now there is no display at all when you power it on except for the faint light on the screen. Any kind of help or suggestions as to what may have gone wrong and what can be done about it will be highly appreciated. Thanks!
