Epson Home Cinema 1060 - No Motherboard Power

I have 2 Epson Home Cinema 1060 that show no signs of life (No Lights). Both have the same issue. The motherboards are dead. I swap with a working board and it works great.

Any ideas where to start on diagnosing the board? I can't find a fuse on this board.

The fuse probably does not look like a fuse, we will assume that you have a little electronics experience so follow the PCB from the power cable and look for an OPEN component, that may be your problem, a fuse that is not familiar to you.

Hello. I have this same issue. I was wondering where u were able to find the new motherboard?

I ended up selling these broken, but the guy who bought them from me said he got them working. He said it was a chip that regulates voltage to the main processor. I'm not sure exactly which chip, but that might get you a good idea what to look for. This must be a common issue with these projectors as I have now come across 7 of them with the same problem.

KDammen  looks like the power supply is actually shown bottom right in your picture. We would need to see more of that. The fuse will be in/on the power supply. That were I would suggest you start. Post some more picture of the power supply connectors and the pinouts as show on the board etc. so we can help you further. The image of your main board is good but to global to properly identify components. Try to post multiple areas of that with your question as well. For now, the power supply area on the right would be my prime suspect for finding the issue.

I've eliminated the power supply because I tested it with a good working motherboard and it works perfectly. So I believe the issue is within the motherboard.

@KDammen yes i was more looking for where the power supply attaches to the board. Looks like the pcb is nicely organized by main features so we would need to see more off the area where the PSU attaches

I just uploaded more detailed photos of that area.

great. Is this the working board or the dead board? Do you still have access to the working board? Any chance you can post some pictures of that as well? Do you have a multimeter/ohmmeter that you can use to check some continuity of some of the components. ?

I do have the good board still I'll have to open that projector up again. Also I do have a multimeter. Where do I start?
