White smoke from engine bay

I have a 2003 Escape that I noticed started smoking yesterday. The smoke was coming from the passenger side under the condenser somewhere in that area. It smells like something is burning. I do have a power steering leak and am convinced that it may just be fluid burning off the components, but it was pretty consistent and seemed like it was coming from a specific source rather than the general area. I do see oil buildup around the valve cover, so it could need a new gasket, but the smoke doesn't seem to come from that area. The temp gauge stays consistently in the middle of hot and cold. Heater and AC both work great. Coolant level is normal. Please help!

THOROUGHLY CLEAN all cited areas. The problem area will be evident on next startup of engine.

The air have to cool down the engine.

@overtonkeondra4 think about this one for a bit. It is a liquid cooled engine and does not need to be air cooled (actually it will not get air cooled) but what are you really saying? Explain to us what you are thinking here.

Simply check all fluid levels when cold, see which one is going down. Another vote for cleaning all dirty areas, I use GUNK, do not get it in the alternator and try to keep it away from ignition components as much as possible, then wash it all off with water, rinse and repeat if needed.

Different fluids that burn or smoke have a distinct smell but of course that comes with experience, here is your learning experience.

Leaks may happen only at specific times, temperature, or pressure scenarios. May leak all the time, may leak after being pressurized, may leak as pressure is dissipating, something starts to leak at partial pressure I mean on the way down, but not on the way up, etc.

Engine oil, antifreeze, trans fluid, power steer fluid, brake fluid, windshield washer fluid, some systems may use a fluid like hydraulic fans but that is usually coupled with another system, etc.
