8 My PC charges my phone but doesn't recognize it
Hi! So I plugged my phone into my computer to transfer some data. It said my phone was charging, but my phone wasn’t showing up as a device. I have heard that some cables don’t provide enough power, but I tried like 4 different cables with the same results. What can I do?

What is the Operating System of your computer? Windows has an app for Android phones.
There are some cables that provide power only, but no data connection. I have a few of them, but hard to imagine that you have four of them. I have marked mine so I recognize them.
