How do I repair the the touchscreen of the phone?
The touch screen doesn't respond to any sensitive touch

Remove your back cover, battery, sim and memory card. Remove the six screws you can see.
Run something like a credit card around the join of the battery compartment to release it from the rest of the phone.

David, I believe that you will need a new digitizer. Disassemble your phone and make sure that the cable is connected and that you have no corrosion on your logic board. you can download the complete service manual from here The digitizer is relative inexpensive and available from places like this Good Luck and let us know how it is going

Do you know that the first touchscreen phone was launched in 1992 by IBM and known as The IBM Simon.
