Personally I would replace the complete display assembly since it will be easier then messing with separating LCD/digitizer etc. Get something like this and be done with it.

Since this is spilled soda, you want to go ahead and clean all the inside part (motherboard etc.) with 90%+ isopropyl alcohol and a soft brush. If you do not clean your phone, the soda will pretty much destroy the rest of it due to the corrosion created.
