Maytag Bravo X stuck with 13 on timer and wont start.
tried to use my washer today and the timer started at 13 and locked me out of the settings how do I fix that

I found out that the lid switch wiring was faulty (loose) at the circuit board after touching everything I wiggled the connector in back and this restarted the timer. my machine sits outside and it must have gotten a bad connection. because this made it work again done 5 loads and still going strong. timer on 13 is bad lid switch connection

First unplug the machine for five minutes to allow it to reset. Then plug it back in and see if it throws any error codes.
