Here’s a link to the ifixit LG K20 PLUS Motherboard Removal guide, whilst even though it is still a work in progress shows how to mostly remove the motherboard so that access to the USB port is available.

You will need to have SMD (surface mounted device) soldering skills and tools to do the repair.

There are videos on YouTube that show how to do SMD soldering. It is not an easy task for beginners. It pays to practice first on faulty boards so that you don’t create more problems in your phone when removing/replacing the connector.
