Hello, I had recently bought a Minolta x370 and bought a pack of energizer batteries

And the camera won't turn on or the other functions. Help?

Check the battery chamber contacts for corrosion is the middle contact and the threads.

I took it to a repair shop and the guy said that it needs a new capacitor and looked like someone tried tampering with it and opened it

Really angry that the seller told me it was in working condition
