Display issue. Bright spots/lines on corner
So I got a early 2015 MacBook Pro 13 (retina) used on eBay. When I got it, it had a huge line going through the center of the screen horizontally. I figured after some research that it was apples anti glare coating causing the annoying line, also called stain gate. SO, I saw online that wiping the screen ALOT with baby wipes will get rid of the coating. I did that and it worked great! However now I presented myself a new problem. I didn’t think I was pushing too hard on the screen but I must have been. See the photos! In the bottom left corner I had a huge bright splotch of liquid that looked like it was underneath the display. However over a few days it slowly decreased to just a few small spots on the area. It’s noticeable if you look hard enough. On top of that, their is also what looks like multiple lines forming from maybe some cable film behind the display. You only see it at an angle so it’s not bothersome but when a pure white image is over it you can barley see it. When I was wiping with a baby wipes I had a decent amount of liquid( I guess the amount you would expect from multiple baby wipes) on the screen and scrubbing as firmly as I could without pressing too hard although I guess I wasn’t careful enough. My main concern is since their is some damage, could It get any worse? As in could it cause issues in the long run? Or will it just stay exactly how it is now and no worries? Thanks for reading!
