Looking to replace the backlights on a 55s405tnaa

I was told the unit has a bad backlight and that the whole screen needs to be replaced but from what I've researched I just need to replace the backlights I think as I can see the video with a flashlight and there's sound. So I'm hoping for some direction as I'm not sure if I need the exact 55s405tnaa replacement backlights or just 55s405? Can this model reflector sheet need to be removed or do I need to cut it to reach the backlights with a exacto knife? I'm trying to be as prepared as possible so any advice is welcome.

I cracked the screen trying to remove it as it seemed the unit had stronger adhesive than I was prepared for. Can this model reflector sheet need to be removed or do I need to cut it to reach the backlights with a exacto knife? Don’t know as once the screen cracked I was too angry to deal with it and my hatred for TCL was cemented permanently.

@samisevil777 you should not have to cut any sheet. Post some pictures of the panel assembly etc. with your question. That way we can see what you see. Also, the backlight strips should be identical for all 55s405 Adding images to an existing question

Thanks for the reply I figured if I explained what went wrong with my attempt it could help the next person. While trying to remove the screen I ran a credit card along the panel to make sure the adhesive had been removed and hit a section where the adhesive was so strong that the credit card spliced into the screen cracking it.
