I am looking for the Samsung phone which should be waterproof. i want to confirm this is Galaxy S10 Plus is a waterproof phone?

Hi,
No phones are truly water proof.
Water proofing gets weaker over time, so if your phone is 2nd hand or refurb, then the water proof ratings should be taken with a grain of salt.
That being said, it will give you a good idea if your phone will survive a accidental water exposer. If water does get in a phone that had high water resistance rating, odds are that the damage would be limited if any.
I don’t reccomend ever putting a phone in water on purpose. Water may find a way in. We often see water damage device with hight ip rating at the shop because the customer thought it was water proof.
