Chimes, but no display showing
My macbook chimes, however it shows no display or sign of life. What could be wrong with it?

Does the MacBook power stay on or does it shut off?
If it stays on shine a torch light on the Apple logo on the lid and see if any image can be see on the LCD. If you can see it, then it is the LCD screen.
