Why are lines inside my tv
i have a seiki 50 inch tv that has lines going through it and i cant change any channels or press menu on tv

A single set of horizontal lines could indicate damage, a graphics system failure, or loose internal video cables. Broken signals from cables or graphics hardware creates impurities in reproducing an image on an LCD screen, conditions that often manifest in the form of vertical or horizontal lines of color.

hey nesha... are your lines horizontal? vertical? colored? what is the model of your seiki set? (usually can find badge on back of tv) any chance you could upload a picture? please let us know this info so we can help further.
