It keeps telling me to check my Ethernet cable which I have but still when I turn it on it will load then say system fail check Ethernet

Hi,

Have you tried a different Ethernet cable?

Can you connect OK to the modem (or router) using another device?

Have you checked the LAN adapter in Device Manager to see if it is OK?

What OS is installed in the laptop?

What else have you checked?
