Hi, my phone won’t show when I’m calling someone, it just rings. If they don’t answer it will flash green at the top and won’t let me hang up. I’ve tried resetting, updating, looked at settings but nothing seems to be working. Can someone help?

Well I’ll try but I was guided thru in Norwegian so let’s hope I use the correct terms.
Go to settings
Then to Apps
Show all apps
Show systems processes
Select Telephone (or maybe called phone?)
Select data storage
The press remove data
Close and restart
Then it worked for me, phone works ok. I don’t know what kind of data was removed in the process, but the Huawei service man assured not dangerous. About this being caused by some Google update he did not seem too sure abt that. Good luck

I tried this last night, I go to apps but can’t find ‘show all apps’ or ‘ systems process’? Can anyone help?
Sry but show all apps is not a command. You get there when selecting apps as step 2. Then you find systems processes by pressing the 3 dots in upper right corner of screen. Then go to phone and select storage and then remove data. Hope it works

Just got it fixed by Huawei support. Allegedly it had something to do with a Google update Had to go i to apps and reset phone.

Did you lose all your data by resetting phone?
Hi, thanks for the info Can you provide a bit more info about the reset. Did you have reset to original factory setting or something else - any further info about what you had to do to fix it would be gratefully received !! Thks.

Amazing, thanks so much. Please could you tell me a bit more ‘ step by step’ how you do the google update ? Not very good with tech!

I have this problem too, still haven't found a fix. I had downloaded the latest update but not installed it. The problem did not go away after updating emui. It's probably the Chinese doing deliberately.

I also have the same problem, also occurring during last 2 days. Have to shut off to terminate call. The green field keeps on flashing. Will hand over to service tomorrow
