JJRC X9P Blue flashing lights instead of green

Hey guys, I’ve bought a JJRC X9P and I can’t make it work. Two evenings ago, when it was delivered I managed to find its wifi on my Samsung Galaxy S8. I connected to the drone and everything was alright. I didn’t actually fly it since I was in the office however I know that the lights were green and I could connect and find the drone’s wifi. Well my s8’s screen cracked so I cannot see anything but the phone I believe that was still connected to the drone’s wifi. I tried with an iPhone Pro Max but I cannot find the drone’s wifi. My controller is not connecting to it, the blue lights are flashing and also the red ones. I tried everything from youtube, I’ve left it outside for 15 min and the green lights didn’t flash at all, it was shuting down after a while.

Any ideas how to fix it ? I am so excited to test it since it’s my first drone and now to be honest it just annoy me. Thanks and be safe !

I have the same issue with a drone I bought used. The green light keeps flashing which means it is not locking the GPS signal. You can still fly it in altitude mode, by pressing the “M” mode switch. The light next to it will turn red indicating now its in altitude mode. Also on the app you have to make sure you are NOT in beginner mode, as they do not want beginners to fly without GPS. Now if you can start the motors using the remote with the joy stick buttons etc.. Only try this outside, as the drone will drift around without GPS. I am not sure why the GPS doesn’t work. I have ordered a replacement GPS module from banggood.

Did the replacement gps help the problem?

Try this and see if it makes any difference…these are the steps I follow with my X9PS:

First, leave your phone alone and don’t connect to anything yet.

Turn on drone and wait until gimbal has initialized. You will see it move all around then stop.

Next, turn on controller. Set it on the ground next to drone. It should connect to drone’s wifi on its own after a few minutes. Rear lights on drone should eventually turn green and you should now be able to control the gimbal with the little wheel on the controller.

Next go to your phone’s wifi screen and connect to controller…not the drone. Your phone must be able to support 802.11ac wifi communications (also known as 5G wifi)

Start your app. I use ‘C-Fly’. You should see a video image right away.

Next click on the three dots in the upper right corner to bring up settings screen. Do a compass calibration. Do a gyro calibration.

Close settings screen with little arrow in the upper left corner.

Im currently trying to repair mine but during the process i noticed the ribbon on the side needed to be seated absolutely in the right spot and clamped to get the lights to light up the correct color and to keep the battery on as well or it will just keep shutting off
