System shuts down randomly after battery replacement

So this is a weird issue. I recently replaced my iPad Pro 9.7’s battery with one from iFixit. The kit was perfect, and I was able to do the repair with the tools provided. However, after this, any time I attempt to use a graphically intensive application (but not CPU intensive application) and only when the smart keyboard is connected, the iPad will shut down, and become unusable until disassembled, and the battery disconnected for several seconds and reassembled. I tried a software restore from DFU mode, but to no avail. Does anyone have any ideas?

Have you by any chance tried re-installing the old battery to verify everything works correctly?

I haven’t yet, but that’s a good idea.

I too changed my battery

Update (11/06/2020)

I have now tried 3 OEM batteries including reinstalling the existing one and all cause the iPad to go into a restart loop I think iOS v14 devices are firmware locked as all show 100mAh on Coconut Plus which probably causes the restart loops. Even completed hard reset and total factory reset to see if it was something else causing it however still stuck in restart loop even when charging. I have accepted defeat and paid £106 to Apple

I think I remember reading that every iPad post 5th Generation and post iPhone 5SE will be firmware locked so to prevent 3rd party change out!
