My Volume down button being pushed into housing?

Hi! I recently bought this phone off Ebay and it seems that the volume down button is loose and can be easily pushed into the housing, making it difficult to function unless it’s pressed with some force. Could the problem be due to a broken volume flex cable? Or that the button has a missing part?

If that’s the case can the repair be done by myself easily?

Heres a video of my problem: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wYh8qnVk...

As seen from the image the bottom half of the volume button can be pushed into the phone easily.

Thanks for your help!

There are videos on how to take the phone apart on YouTube and put a link that shows you how to take the volume button apart so you can clean and repair it https://youtu.be/GXoxEqMPyuQ

From what I can see it looks like the c clip holding the button on might have come off. There is no way to know until you get in there and look at it. You will need some skill to do this repair and some tools and probably a magnifying glass. These parts are small and easy to lose. If you aren't confident in your skills you might want to take it to a repair shop. If you are confident I would order a basic tool set and a magnifying glass (hands free) and open it up slowly and w every video on it so you get as much information. It could just be clipping the clip back on.

Alright Thanks! But do you think the problem is due to a broken volume flex cable? I'm pretty unsure about it as I have 0 knowledge about phone repairs and I'm not sure if I need to purchase that part to repair the phone.
