My Sony Bravia KLV-32R482B's screen was flickering and then...

My sony bravia klv-32r482b started flickering a lot and then after some days it was only displaying the red light( blinking 5 times). Since then there is no display. There was a few days when the back light was turning on, but now nothing… Someone just said that it might happen due to some issues in the circuit board. Can this happen? What's the replacement cost, any idea? Can anyone suggest anything? Thank you in advance.
