LG 65uj6300-ua busylor, dim screen blue spot. Backlight or t-con

I thought that might be the reason as well however would that also cause a blue spot and a dim screen on top?

If the diffusers have slipped it could mean that there isn't an even spread of light over the screen which might make it appear dimmer in places.

As for the blue spot that could be caused by something else, but usually a faulty tcon doesn't cause a "spot" problem e.g. if the gamma chip in the tcon was faulty the screen would have a tinge (whatever colour red/green/blue) over all the screen. tcon problems are usually associated with vertical line problems in the display, black line or band or one colour line or band or no display at all but with backlight. So I suppose if there is no display then you might have a tcon problem, but the tcon only translates to the screen what the mainboard sends to it so that would have to be looked at and not assumed

A larger spot rather than just the one pixel or row of pixels could mean a problem with the horizontal drivers which are part of the panel itself.

It may be better to solve the major problem first i.e. the diffusers and check what it's like after that as it may not be just one problem causing all of this.
