I replaced the digitiser on my iPad Mini 2. For fifty per cent of the time the screen is ok and then for the remainder the writing on the screen doubles. Occasionally the battery icon and word “iPad” appear at the bottom of the screen, not the top. I have attached a picture to explain what I mean. I have lifted the digitiser off the iPad and the result is the same. Just wondering if anyone had any ideas?

First disconnect the battery. Then disconnect the digitizer and LCD. Get a magnifying glass and check the connections for damage. Clean the connections with a qtip and alcohol and a soft brush. It sounds like it's getting a bad connection which happens intermittently and can be caused from temperature, movement, etc..

Hi Allan, many thanks for the suggestion. I took it apart last night and cleaned the connections and put it all back together again and unfortunately the problem is still there.
Do you think it could be damage to the LCD?
It's a possibility
Certainly there appears to be some damage to the LCD in the top right hand corner.
It could cause the issue
