iPhone 3G home button not responding and iPhone keeps restarting

so i took apart my iphone to clean the bezel and once i put everything back together and turned it on. the home button wouldn't work and i tried cleaning it and once i turned the phone on, still no use and now it keeps restarting and the screen turns white and goes to the apple symbol and keeps doing it when i turn it on please help i spent too much time fixing from water damage and im getting ready to break it please help

one of the pins broke off when i opened it to check if everything was connected so is there anyway to repair

if you mean the pin from home button..you can try but it's fiddly. i'd buy a new home button flex. You will need to take the digitiser off to get to that part though.(follow guide for front display/digitiser under photo of phone---->)

If it's liquid damage and you wasn't grounded when you repaired it you've probably made it worse. Your best bet is to check connections 1&2 for the screen and make sure cable 4 is nicely seated. Under the screen by the home button there is two pins that stick out. This is how the home button makes contact with the board, make sure these are not damaged.
