Overloaded HDMI port with powered HDMI splitter. Now have no video out
Recently got a powered HDMI splitter. Plugged it into the PS3 and now I can't get any picture on the screen. I think I could smell burning so quickly removed it but think it was too late.
Original fat PS3.
I've tried the soft reset and tried to get it to run through other cables I know work. Both HDMI, component and Composit.
Console turns on normally and controllers light up as normal. No other errors lights and bleeps as far as I can see.
Is there a capacitor that can blow for all video out? As would presume it has been overloaded with too high a voltage?
Hopeful it can be fixed. But haven't seen anyone post the same issue.
