I tried the hairdryer trick but it still won’t charge. I stopped charging it for a couple hours and it shows the red battery sign and it goes black again, I charged it again and it still won’t charge. How can i fix this????

Sound like the battery has been worn out or having issues.
I had several iphone4 having this issues. Replacement of battery works.
