got an iphone7 with a strange problem, when charger connected it shows no charging sign and no current consumption at all, i hav changed charging flec, but same, after that i trid changing u2 ic but still same, then i changed sn2400b0 charging ic too that is known as u2101, but cndition remains same..
any idea what cud be wrong in tht device?

Firstly make sure you have ruled out parts. And make sure:
· you are using the right Tigris IC (TI SN2400AB0) not the (SN2400B0)
· Make sure Tristar is soldered properly.
· Check SWI circuit.
· Check Q2101 you can jump it if required.
· And don’t forget the battery connector.

hi bro, i hav changed both ic in same manner, i hav even jumpered q2101 and battery connector is also proper, the phone is getting turned on propery, plz let me know about the switch (SWI) circuit,
wen i cable is connected the fone turns on means it is getting signalls from usb pwr rail, but not charging at all, q4001's drain and source is showing 5.19 volts, means u2 is getting voltage.. so where cud be the problem??
when i connect charging cable in phones turned off condition, the iphone gets turned on but doesnt shows any charging and nothing is shown even if its connected to pc usb cable..
it remains in same condition as i got it in..

@mohit anand So you have replaced Tigris with a TI SN2400AB0?
@imicrosoldering yes changed the rigris with same model that was in priorly in the board.. but no effect at alll, is there any enable pin that cud be missing and u2 or tigris diesnt get signal to turn on usb comms and charging??
@mohit anand The Tristar chip gives the all good for Tigris to start charging. Have you compared dock connector readings to known good board? What does 3uTools say about the battery info?

Is the phone dead or will it boot with a charged battery. If not then there could be a short somewhere on the board like vdd main, vdd boost or a nand power rail.

the phone is properlly booting, no error at all... wen charger connected in on condition it doesnt shows any charging sign and no current consumption...
i m getting 5.19 voltage on c4006 and c2101 that are source and drain pins of q4001, but i m getting 0volt at the gate that is pulled down by 10k resisto.. is that normal?? the device isnt even detected by the pc on usb rails...
Hi mohit, please make sure you have the right charging port. Seems obvious but I got once trolled for 2 hours by an iPhone 5s charging port. It would turn on the iPhone 5c I was trying to fix but not charge it. Started labelling all my charging ports ever since
hi roman, i hav changed charging ports, i hav placed this mother board in a working iph7 housing, bt no response at all, i hav checked my new charging flrx in another fully working iph7 and the new charging flex is working properly in another iph7.. the issue remains same..

I'm not an Expert on Phones, jus a ½ Ass Mechanic, but like the Gentleman said Possibly the Board is Shorted Out, Try Nother Charge Cord,USB Mite Be Faulty?? Best of Luck..!!
