Hi there fellow iFixers,
My iPad Mini 2 has decided it does not want to turn on at all.
I have plugged it into AC power @10W for 18 hours and it did nothing.
I have plugged it into iTunes on my Mac and it doesn't show up.
I have contacted apple support (which are hopeless) “bring your device in so a technician can identify the issue with the iPad”
Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

Its most likely a fault with the charging port or battery, you could try replacing them yourself or just taking it to Apple for a diagnostic and then fixing it yourself once they’ve told you whats wrong with it.

That doesn't sound like a bad idea, but they will probably give me some wrong answer so that they can drain every dollar out of me.
Oh yeah definitely they'll try upsell you to high heaven! I reckon it will either be the port or battery.
