Hi, The spacebar on my A1048 keyboard isn’t working. I removed it and cleaned it, still no go. I tried using a swab to press the rubber part inside the hole for the key and it works for other keys, but not the spacebar. Any ideas for how to fix this? Thanks!

Review this guide Apple Keyboard disassembly to clean PCB Membrane Jump to Steps 5 & 6. You either have a bad trace line or corrosion or lastly the rubber cup conductive button is worn-out.
Apple never offered any parts so you’ll need to find another keyboard to either replace yours or steal parts from to fix yours.
