Upgrading SSD of MacBook Pro Early 2015 13"

Hi Folks!

Hope you all are staying safe and fine.

I have a MacBook Pro Early 2015 13.3" (i5, 2.7GHZ Processor) with 8 GB RAM and 256 GB Flash Storage.

Though I have cleaned up my Mac and installed Catalina, I still feel my device is slow in booting and slow in Read/Write and other performances.

Since we know that the RAM cannot be upgraded and have to manage with 8 GB, will there be any difference in performance when I upgrade the SSD to 1 TB (Possibly planning to install Crucial or WD).

Your suggestions will be of great help guys.

Thanks

If your SSD is very full it will slow down your mac. If you put a 1tb in you could partition off a small part for extended memory.

@Avinash™ Kumar - Then you likely have a M.2 SSD fitted with an adapter which is not able to work very well. This is a common issue on using these adapters/SSD combo's.
