Can't keep my configuration of monitors
Hello everyone and happy holidays!
My company bought me a new Macbook Pro 2019. Of course, this differs very much from my 2015. I’m still running Catalina because Captivate is not compatible with Big Blur yet.
So, I’ve hooked up my dual monitors using a USB-C. USB-C to display port, to be exact and they work splendidly. I’m looking for a utility that remembers my arrangement, though. I used InsomniaX, so I can close the lid and still have the monitors active.
But, every morning when I turn it on, everything is all over the place. Is there a utility that takes an “snapshot” of your working setup and runs a script or something to designate which monitor goes where?
Also, when I open Premiere now, it’s defaulting to one screen. So, I have to set that up every time. I wasn’t sure what to look for, that’s why I come where the masters are!
Maybe a tool that remembers your configuration, and returns it the way you set it? It’s gets really old setting all my apps up, every day, to the proper dual monitor configuration. I appreciate any help.
