What does 3 fast flashing orange lights mean on a DS4 controller

I recently bought this ds4 controller to see if i can fix it. clicking the ps button and plugging in a charge cable both give 3 fast blinking orange lights and then turns off.

When i opened it i saw that the ribbon cable connector was a little burned/melted, but i dont think it’s broken because the connection is still there, or else the light wouldn’t go on at all (i think).

Also around a solder joint of the left analog stick, are burn marks, and the wires of the 2 analog sticks weren’t soldered on when i opened it.

i wonder if that is the problem, if so i need to buy a solder station (which i was planning anyways).

what could the problem be?
